Perched on the wooded cliffs of the southern Connecticut shoreline just beyond the quiet harbor town of Hawthorne Hollow, Knightsblood University has been a bastion of power and excellence for more than two centuries.
Founded in the late eighteenth century by English aristocrats seeking to recreate the prestige of Oxford and Cambridge on American soil, Knightsblood was conceived as a sanctuary of refinement and rigor. Admission was restricted to heirs of lords, dukes, and high-born families who desired an education befitting their lineage.
Its original motto remains etched above the Great Hall doors:
To the blood of king and crown, cross and knighthood.
Today, the University remains fiercely selective, but it serves the heirs of a different aristocracy. Its students arrive from families whose names command empires and kingdoms. While the language of that power has evolved, the expectation has not.
Knightsblood educates those born to lead.
Campus & Setting
The Tudor and Gothic campus spans over two hundred acres of coastal woodland and cliff-side terrain overlooking Long Island Sound. Gas-lit pathways wind between stone courtyards, and vaulted libraries glow with the hunger for knowledge long after dusk. The original Cathedral of St. George remains at the heart of the grounds, with its famed stained glass and burial ground that predates the founding of the United States by a century.
Proximity to New York City places students within reach of global finance, diplomacy, and enterprise, while Hawthorne Hollow itself remains a discreet, quiet haven from the rigors of study and alliance-building.
Academic Philosophy
Knightsblood combines classical scholarship with strategic application. Programs in political theory, international finance, legal doctrine, history, and leadership are taught by some of the leading minds of their fields, alongside some of our most vaunted alumni.
Education at Knightsblood is rigorous. Expectations are high, and mediocrity is stamped out when and where it is found.
The Societies
Beyond the classroom, Knightsblood’s historic and infamous student societies shape the character of its campus. While not officially sanctioned by the University, membership in one of these clubs remains one of the most highly coveted marks of success a student can achieve.
Membership is highly competitive, selective, and widely regarded as a defining element of the Knightsblood experience. Admission into one of the four societies is not simply an extracurricular activity. It is a declaration of ambition and an ascension into the institution’s most influential circles.
Para Bellum
Para Bellum draws the future rulers: heirs to empires, tacticians, and leaders born with an unrelenting hunger for power. Equally formidable in the boardroom and on the battlefield, its members are strategists who understand that power is derived through dominance.
The Reckless
The Reckless belong to those who thrive on volatility and refuse to retreat from risk. Fighters, enforcers, and agents of chaos, they’re often the first to act and the last to yield.
The Ouroboros Society
The Ouroboros Society attracts those obsessed with mastery of systems, information, and human nature itself. Its members are analysts, interrogators, and political architects.
The Order
The Order recruits the most disciplined and unflinching individuals who value precision over spectacle. Working quietly and playing the long game, its members shape outcomes from the shadows, often long before others realize a move has been made.
The Future
Though its towers are centuries old, Knightsblood University continues to evolve and adapt to a changing world while preserving the standards that defined it.
Its mission remains unchanged:
To educate those entrusted with influence.
To refine those destined for leadership.
To honor the blood that built it, and the future that will inherit it.
